Currently, Sun Life runs four hotels on Mauritius – Sugar Beach and La Pirogue on the west coast and Long Beach and Ambre on the east coast of Mauritius. Four hotels with quite a different touch and feel to it: La Pirogue, the legend on the west coast and one of the first hotels along the famous Flic en Flac beach is more of the laissez-faire, boho-chic style hotel while next door neighbour and sister hotel Sugar Beach is a reminiscence to the former sugar baron era of Mauritius and impresses with its generous lay-out and refined colonial chic. Ambre on the east coast of Mauritius was the first adult-only hotel on the sunny island while Long Beach, the youngest addition to the group, is the modern interpretation of a Mauritian village resort with outstanding food and sport facilities.
Besides hotels, Sun Life also operates Ile aux Cerfs a beautiful golf and sun islands along the east cost with the famous 18 hole golf course designed by Bernhard Langer.
